Surviving Spouses

This population can easily miss benefits. Screen all three property-tax exemption pathways (§§11.131, 11.133, 11.136) and VA/VLB eligibility.

Surviving spouses may qualify for VA home loan benefits in specified circumstances. Obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from VA to determine eligibility.
